Arun was one of three atheletes who represented India at the World Skateboarding Championships in Nanjing, China, in October/November 2018. More detailed reports you’ll find here and here.
When Arun first heard about the World Skateboarding Championships he didn’t even know what it was. Surprise, surprise. Once he saw his competitors dropping in this deep bowl he understood that there is a HUGE DIFFERENCE between skateboarding and skateboarding 🙂 These championships opened a whole new world for him and triggered his imagination of what is possible. And it seemed to be that the sky is the limit.
Arun was very confident during his runs (see videos below) and the crowd around him cheered him up. He really enjoyed the center court – and even didn’t think about that he scored third last. Taking part was what really counted.
